This department is open to eligible junior participants as defined in the Benton County Fair General Livestock Rules All general livestock rules of the fair apply to this department. In addition, the exhibitors in this section are subject to the following regulations. 1. Commercial Meat Goat does or Purebred Meat Goat Does are eligible for this show. No Bucks allowed. 2. All exhibitors must be an ACTIVE Benton County 4-H or FFA member in Good Standing at time of nomination/entry as well as the time of fair. 3. Commercial Does must be of the meat goat variety. No dairy goats allowed. 4. All commercial Meat Does must have their baby teeth and less than one (1) year of age. 5. All goats shown must be dehorned or tipped. No paint, powder or artificial coloring is allowed. 6. Commercial Meat Goat Doe Show is open to Cloverbud and Junior exhibitors only. 7. Cloverbud exhibitors will be limited to one (1) entry in the Commercial Doe Show. 8. Junior exhibitors will be limited to one (1) entry in the Commercial Doe Show. 9. Commercial Does must weigh a minimum of 50 lbs. on Monday, August 3rd. 10. Does must be owned by the exhibitor by May 30, 2020 11. Cloverbud and Junior Grand Champion Market Goat and Cloverbud and Junior Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat will not be eligible for Commercial Doe Show. 12. Does will be split by weight breaks. 13. Commercial Meat Goat Show will follow the Market Goat Show. 14. Each exhibitor will pay $5.00 per head to show in this class. 15. All animals will be inspected INSIDE the trailer prior to entering the barn area. If any animals on the trailer are contagious the ENTIRE trailer will be sent home immediately!
