How much does it cost to enter? Livestock and special event entry fees vary, but it's FREE to exhibit in many categories such as home arts, photography, agronomy, gardening, food prep and preservation. Please be mindful late fees also may apply, however. Can professionals enter the fair? Some departments may accept professional work, but generally the fair is focused on promoting the work of nonprofessionals and youth to help develop those life skills and showcase them. Do you need to be a member of the 4H or FFA? Not if you are entering departments within the Exhibit Hall but livestock entries do require membership to 4H or FFA. This ensures participants are getting advice and guidance from mentors or teachers with training in agriculture and experience in raising livestock. How can I learn more about participating in the Fair? We plan to host an open house Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Benton County Fairgrounds Auditorium. Youth will have a chance to create crafts suitable for the fair, we'll have computers available to help with registration as well as answer general questions.
