The University of Kentucky administration has appreciated the leadership your undergraduates have provided the University for the past 72 years. Since its founding in 1941, Alpha Delta Pi has added rich traditions at UK and within its fraternity and sorority community. Your alumnae have gone on to key business, professional, political, and academic positions throughout Kentucky and the nation. The fraternity and sorority community is alive and well at UK. After this fall's recruitment, Alpha Delta Pi remained the largest sorority in the fraternity and sorority community with over 300 members. These large numbers can be challenging to manage in some facilities without renovations. Many fraternities and sororities are planning and carrying out renovations to improve the life safety features of the fraternity and sorority houses. These projects can only happen as a result of support from alumnae. Your decision to provide an excellent living and social environment, and first-rate study and meeting accommodations will enhance the overall university experience for your undergraduates. Fraternity and sorority members remain loyal to their University and are an important piece of the UK campus. A high proportion of leadership in the UK Alumni Association and the UK Office of Philanthropy are fraternity and sorority alumni. University administrators and faculty realize that something in the fraternity and sorority experience fosters involvement and loyalty. Alumnae engagement is critical to the successes of our chapters, and I hope that you will get engaged in some way with Beta Psi and if you are already a volunteer or donor, thank you for all you do to keep our community strong and healthy. A strong university depends on strong undergraduates and supportive alumnae. Alpha Delta Pi, through its undergraduates and alumnae, has contributed to UK's strength for over 70 years. Your support of the current building project will help ensure Alpha Delta Pi continues to thrive on UK's campus. Best wishes on your campaign. Sincerely, Susan West Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life UK SUPPORTS GREEK LIFE AND ALPHA DELTA PI
