The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is working with federal, state, and local authorities to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (CO- VID-19) situation. We recommend you continue to safely enjoy public lands while following CDC, state, and local guidelines on limiting group size and social distancing. Currently, BLM-managed lands in Arizona are open, including camp- grounds, day-use areas, and trails. Existing rules and regulations ap- ply. BLM lands remain available for dispersed camping and other out- door recreation activities, unless otherwise prohibited. We recommend visiting areas close to home while avoiding very popu- lar or crowded locations where so- cial distancing may be diffi cult, and limiting group activities to mem- bers of your household. Public lands are here for you. How- ever, services and facilities may change following guidance from the CDC and local and state authorities. Please check with individual fi eld and district offi ces for specifi c de- tails about operations in your area. You should plan ahead and bring your own sanitation supplies (toilet paper, hand sanitizer) and plan to pack out all waste since toilet and trash services may be unavailable in many locations. Currently, the La Posa North, South, West, and Tyson Wash LTVAs south of Quartzsite, Arizona, and Imperi- al Dam LTVA in California, remain open to the public. While the BLM has waived day-use fees to our rec- reation sites, overnight fees remain in effect for the LTVAs. After April 15, BLM's intention is that the LTVAs will convert to 14- day camping areas, as they do each year. However, after April 15: • Amenities such as toilets, trash removal, and wastewater dump- ing services (both black and gray water) may no longer be provided due to contractor, staff, and supply shortages • Be prepared to pack out your trash and to fi nd alternative means of dumping wastewater, since dump- ing of any kind is prohibited on public lands. • Plan to bring your own toilet pa- per, hand sanitizer, and cleaning supplies From April 16th through September 14th, the fee is $10 per vehicle for day-use, $15 per vehicle for over- night use, or $75 annually per ve- hicle, for up to 5 people per vehicle. There will be a $1 fee charged for each person over the 5 person limit. The maximum stay is 14 days in a 28-day period. Practice social distancing outdoors. Outdoor activities can provide many health benefi ts when prac- ticed safely. We recommend visiting areas close to home. Avoid crowded locations where physical distancing may be diffi cult. Limit group activi- ties to members of your household. Services and facilities may be lim- ited. Do your part! Protect yourself, other people, and your public lands. Do not gather in large groups. Pack out your trash. Bring your own toi- let paper and hand sanitizer. Stay at least 6 feet apart. Stay home if you're sick.
