2 I t is my honor and privilege to serve as the new High Alpha of the Alpha-Phi Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha. In November, we initiated 30 new members into our lifelong brotherhood. As always, recruitment for next fall begins now. If you know of any potential new members who could strengthen and grow our brotherhood, please contact Luke Boyd, AΦ1932. Also, follow our Instagram page @lambdachibama to keep up with the accomplishments and endeavors of Alpha-Phi Zeta. Brothers Set the Bar High is spring, Alpha-Phi undergraduates have made exceptional accomplishments worth acknowledging. Senior brother Matteo Taraborrelli, AΦ1872 scored a 167 on his LSAT, placing him in the 94th percentile of all law school candidates. is outstanding score has earned him full tuition scholarships from many prestigious law schools, including Alabama, Wake Forest, Florida, and an 80% tuition scholarship to Northeastern. Matteo is still waiting to hear back from Duke, Cornell, Vanderbilt, and the University of Pennsylvania. Matteo will graduate this May with a degree in international studies and minor in Spanish, as well as a cumulative 3.97 GPA. Additionally, we would also like to highlight the accomplishments of Trey Hamilton, AΦ1902. Trey has served as the treasurer for the University of Alabama's Carl A. Elliott Society, during which he's made contributions through fundraising drives at local restaurants and gathering meal swipe donations. He plans to run for president of the Elliott Society for the 2020-21 academic year. Lastly, I want to recognize my predecessor, Reed Schwartz, AΦ1809. Reed is going to commission in May as an active duty aviation officer in the United States Army. He is graduating in the top 20 percent of all Army ROTC cadets nationwide, and we wish him success as he goes to Fort Rucker, Alabama, for the next stage in his life. Alumni Always Welcome We are always grateful for the continued support of our alumni. Feel free to stop by the Lambda Chi house on any game day for food, drinks, and live music during tailgating season this fall. We look forward to seeing you and your families and cheering on the Crimson Tide together.
