Epsilon Chapter alumni who have graduated as far back as the 1980s to as recent as 2018 come to serve on the panel of experienced professionals. ey are rewarded with a delicious dinner prepared by the Chapter members and have an opportunity to catch up with old friends and build rapport with undergraduate brothers. Shortly after dinner concludes, the program begins with a panel of alumni describing their respective career paths and explaining what positions they hold. Topics including interviews, how to network, résumé pointers, and mannerisms were discussed among the panel, which answered questions throughout the discussion. A simple Q&A session for members who had specific questions not per- taining to any of the discussion topics completed the panel portion. Career Night Provides Meaningful and Professional Guidance T heta Chi Epsilon Chapter's alumni committee has been working to strengthen our career networking through LinkedIn. Previously, Epsilon Chapter had ownership of two separate networking groups and many brothers were members of both groups. After analyzing both groups and its respective members, we began spreading the word of the upcoming consolidation. e LinkedIn group "eta Chi (Epsilon Chapter) Networking" will be the only LinkedIn group going forward, as the "EBA – Epsilon Building Association" group was closed on February 18, 2020. is consolidation will greatly benefit the Chapter's networking by centralizing all participating undergraduates and alumni into a single group. e other issue with the EBA group was that it was an unlisted group; therefore, difficult to find without an invitation. If you're not already a member and would like to connect with the Epsilon Chapter undergraduates and alumni in a professional manner, you may request to join the eta Chi Epsilon Chapter LinkedIn group by searching the group name or at www.linkedin.com/ groups/8590662. Fraternally, Nicholas Pitti '21, Alumni Relations Chairman EPSILON CHAPTER CONSOLIDATES LINKEDIN NETWORKING I With tremendous help from the Career Develop- ment Center and the alumni panelists, members had their résumés critiqued, fine-tuned, and pre- pared for the upcoming career fair and additional employers they have been seeking out. Breakout sessions followed so alumni could chat one-on-one with active members about possible job opportuni- ties and for additional résumé suggestions for spe- cific fields. A highlight of the night was the mock interviewing portion: it provided unique knowl- edge and insight to our members about handling constructive criticism and using it to improve how they present themselves during job interviews.
