For most people, COVID-19 infec- tion will cause mild illness however, it can make some people very ill and, in some people, it can be fatal. Older people, and those with pre- existing medical conditions (such as cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease or diabetes) are at risk for severe disease. On March 2, as orginally reported by reporter Judd Legum, the CDC had stopped disclosing the number of Americans that have been tested on its website. As of March 1, 472 people had been tested in the US. There were over 100 cases in 15 states as of Tuesday morning. Schools and hospitals across the U.S. have begun preparing for a po- tential pandemic. To stay up to date with the latest information on the virus, visit the WHO's extensive website which is- sues updates daily at www.who.int. 6th Annual Colorado River Blues Festival planned for March 14th Parker, AZ - The 6th Annual Colorado River Blues Festival, a non-profi t event to raise money for American Legion Benefi ts, will be the main en- tertainment at the La Paz County Fair, Saturday Night March 14th. The music will start at 6pm and go to 10:30 pm. There are three great Blues Bands to entertain you this year. 6-7pm Dilly and The Last Call Band from Parker, AZ 7:30-8:30pm One Way Out from Lake Havasu, AZ 9-10:30pm Gary Zak and The Outbacks from Phoenix, AZ There will be a Raffl e to raise money for our Veterans in need. The festival is part of the La Paz County Fair. Daily Admission is Adult $9,Child and Senior Citizen $7.
