Fayetteville Woodpeckers Spring Fling Segra Stadium, 460 Hay Street The official kick-off party of spring, featuring a family friendly evening with games and activities for all ages. Regu- lar season tickets for Fayetteville Wood- peckers games will be on sale. The batting cages will be open for batting practice, and the Mellow Mushroom Kids Zone will be open with inflatables. The Duke-UNC basketball game will be showing at Healy's Right Field Bar, and there will be stadium food, craft beer and games to play across the 360- degree concourse. THROUGH APRIL 9 "Regional Artistry: A Unified Vision" Methodist University's David McCune International Art Gallery, opening reception Feb. 6 This exhibit features the works of 14 local and regional artists. Seven of the artists also serve as members of the gallery's advisory board, including Stephanie Bostock, Manisha Devasthali, Guy Jencks, Sandi McFarlane, Beth Williams Pryor, Muriel Roux and Skylor Swann. The exhibit is free and open to the public; however, there is a suggest- ed donation of $10 per visitor. All works exhibited are for sale, with proceeds to benefit the McCune Gallery in support of operational funding for future exhib- its. MARCH 6, 7:30 P.M The Temptations and the Four Tops Crowne Theatre The Temptations and the Four Tops will be back together again as a part of the Community Concert's 84th season. MARCH 7, NOON-5 P.M. Build a Better Murchison 1100 Murchison Road For one day, this event will take over the Murchison Road Corridor to make it more pedestrian and bicycle-friendly, increase safety and bring the commu- nity together. The event will take place along the Murchison Road Corridor, in and around Seabrook Auditorium and in and around Bronco Plaza. This tempo- rary demonstration project will add new crosswalks, a greenery-lined median and a two-way cycle track. The Great All-American Warrior 5k Festival Park Hosted by His Outreach Worldwide and His Bread of Life, the event features a certified and timed race, free food, a bouncy house for kids and music by the band 80s Unleashed.
