THE
NEW DECADE, SAME ALPHA CHI
Alumni Donations Imperative to Our Future
EMBRACING YOUR ALPHA CHI LEGACY
A
s brothers of Phi Kappa Tau, we're
used to setting high expectations for
ourselves and each other. The goals
we've set for Alpha Chi are just as ambitious.
Whether you've stayed connected with the
chapter since graduation or not, we all have
a great opportunity to start new with FΚΤ in
2020. The second Bill Jones '60 challenge is
proof of that, which has raised over $22,000
to date. Each of us can make this challenge a
success and close the gap in reaching our $1.5
million goal. But time is of the essence as
this opportunity ends in May. Please show
your financial support now and help us end the
campaign in record time!
There are multiple ways you can help:
1. Extend you current gift or pledge into
the future. Payments can be spread over
several years.
2. Make a new pledge to Embracing Your
Alpha Chi Legacy and join Bill's challenge.
3. Call your brothers and encourage them to
join you in this campaign.
This is a truly unique opportunity for us and
we hope all alumni can see the incredible
potential this provides our chapter. Completing
the campaign would allow our volunteers to
Rob Lowrance '77, Jimmy Joiner '77, and
Bert Simpson '76 at the alumni tailgate.

shift their focus from fundraising to program
development, membership, and brotherhood.
Don't let this opportunity go to waste. We are
relying on you to show your support by the
end of May.
With only $411,619 left to reach our goal, we
are too close to give up now. Every brother
is needed to keep up this momentum, just as
every brother was needed as undergraduates to
maintain Alpha Chi's success.
While it's a new decade, we're the same Alpha
Chi. Our standards are high. Our membership is
driven. Our goals for 2020 are bold. You have
the chance to set the standard for the next 10
years of Alpha Chi.
