Delta Tau Delta, Ball State University P.O. Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested NON-PROFIT ORG. U.S. POSTAGE PAID KPI THE IRIS W e had a very successful Watermelon Bust in September. As always, we worked with Alpha Chi Omega and raised funds to donate to our chosen charities. We usually raise about $12,000 for the event but raised an incredible $15,840 this past year. NEW LEADERSHIP Our new executive board is critical to refocusing the Epsilon Mu Chapter. We have a total turnover of our executive board, made up of all 2018 fall brothers. We believe that our bond is very strong, and we can make a significant difference in the day-to-day operations in the house. They are very involved and have constructive input on how the house functions. RECRUITING THE BEST We had a very successful new member class, initiating 20 noble men into our chapter. Being the recruitment chairman in my previous executive position, I was given the opportunity to get to know them personally, as I had the opportunity to be in contact them daily. Academics is an area we are trying to improve tremendously and most of our new member class is above a 3.0 GPA. They are very eager to get started and take advantage of all that Delta Tau Delta has to offer. Since being initiated in fall 2018, I have been honored to attend many Delt events. This includes two Northern Division events and PresX (executive leadership meeting), which was held in the Dallas, Texas. Last year, the Northern Conference was held right here in Muncie and, last week, in Kalamazoo. These events were very informative and have helped me get started on a path of excellence. Fraternally, Jackson Starnes '20, Chapter President Epsilon Mu on the Path to Greatness Brothers attend the Northern Division Conference.
