For Women, start off with an Annual visit, that could include breast exam, Pap and HPV testing. For Men, start off with an Annual visit that could include prostate and colon checks. Also get blood and urine tested for detection and prevention of treatable diseases.
Stop at the Lab and X-ray Department, where we
offer not only Comprehensive lab testing and x-rays, but also Mammography and Bone Density testing. Hours 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, X-rays available until 8:00. Lassen Medical Group also offer Urgent Care available without an appointment from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm. We have a pediatric suite with 6 pediatricians and a pediatric shot room. Why should you see your doctor at least on an annual basis? So your doctor can check your overall health and make recommendations, perform necessary tests to ensure your health for the future. Why check your urine? A urine test can be used to check the glucose level in urine, screening for or monitoring diabetes. Checking your urine can help prevent numerous diseases that will break down your body’s systems like Chlamydia, urinary tract infections, and kidney disease.
Why test for HPV (human papillomavirus) with an annual Pap smear? Because HPV can cause abnormal cervical cells, cervical cancer, and genital warts. Why get a mammography? For early detection of breast cancer.
