World renow ned, The Texas Tenors are t he most successf ul music g roup and t hird highest-selling ar t- ist in t he histor y of t he T V show. Now t he tenor t rio of John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher are bring ing t heir 10t h A nniversar y Tour to Fayettev ille for a one- night performance. The Texas Tenors is t he t hird hit att ract ion in t he all-star concer t line-up, coming af ter Chicago and Mannheim Steamroller's stellar product ions and usher- ing in The Four Tops and The Temptat ions combo March 6 and The Oak ridge Boys May 21. Adding to t he ant icipat ion for The Texas Tenor performance is t he concer t date, a day as sy nony mous w it h love as t he tenor voice is w it h romance. The versat ile vocals of t he t rio make for a night of excit ing enter tainment. The 10t h A n- niversar y Tour includes a collect ion of music f rom t he past decade, including select ions f rom t he 2019 album "A Collect ion of Broad- way & A merican Classics," which debuted at #1 on t he Billboard Classical Char ts. The hit parade pinnacle is a second for t he band, as t heir 2017 studio album "R ise" met t he same acclaim. The Texas Tenors look for ward to sharing t heir songs w it h Fayettev ille fans. Over t he past decade, t he classically t rained tenors have performed more t han 1,300 con- cer ts around t he U.S. and world, including headline shows in Las Vegas, Nevada; Bran- son, Missouri; China; and a 24-cit y tour in t he United K ingdom. The Texas Tenors perform t hree dif ferent live concer ts, "R ise: Live on Tour," "Let Freedom Sing" and holiday fa- vorite "Deep in t he Hear t of Christ mas." The Texas Tenor's second and newest book, "Moon's on Fire," is soon to be released and is a sequel to "Ruck us." It also comes w it h a CD and features "The Cowboy Lullaby" for t he youngest fans. The men t hat make up The Texas Tenors are as varied as t he music t hey sing. John Hagen, referred to simply as "The Tenor," has an ex ten- sive classical backg round, while Marcus Collins, "The Contemporar y Tenor," has a past t hat includes T V and f ilm work. JC Fisher, aka "The Romant ic Tenor," is t he g roup's founder who g rew up sing ing in church. Collect ively, t heir inf luenc- es include ar t ists f rom t he modern, classical, spiritual and operat ic t radit ions. A member of The Texas Tenor fan club, Francene Taylor lives in Havelock, Nor t h Car- olina, but plans to t ravel to Fayettev ille for t he Feb. 14 special. She has seen t he g roup over 70 t imes and in states rang ing f rom Nor t h Caro- lina and New Jersey to Missouri and A rizona, including t wo cr uise concer ts. For her, and ot her devoted fan club members, t raveling to see t heir favorite band is not a problem. "W herever t hey go," said Taylor, "people just g rav itate to t hem. I k now we do." Hooked on The Texas Tenors since t he f irst AGT broadcast, Taylor described t heir person- alit ies, not only musicalit y, as "mag net ic." "Each of t he Tenors brings somet hing spe- cial to t he t rio, and each has unique charac- ter. But when t hey combine, watch out! They are also ver y audience-oriented; t he g uys draw t he crowd into ever y performance.
