"What have you done to Wednesday dances?" "We want our Wednes- day dances back!" Okay, Alright, Already. We hear you! Here's a Wednesday dance with an incred- ible duo to keep you on your feet all night. If you want Wednesday dances revived, be sure to come and support this event. And come even just to listen, you won't be sorry. Take an Indiana piano player-the best ever-and a singer/guitar player from Golden, British Columbia, put them together in the same RV park in Wick- enburg, AZ and what do you get? The incredible duo, "TC and The Keys." This is their fi rst year together and they've already made a name for themselves as a dance band and a musical show. James, The Keys, played piano and drums with his Dad in clubs at age 14. His sis- ter taught him his fi rst piano song "The House of the Rising Sun." He took piano lessons but didn't "have the patience to read." He wanted to play in bands. His brother taught TC and The Keys him drums and they practiced in their garage. He said he's "played in a couple hundred different bands." He has a landscaping business in Indiana and "cuts a lot of grass," then comes out here for six months. His piano playing will take your breath away. This is one guy you don't want to miss. T.C. (Terry Crockett) started with drums at age 5. His Dad "taped 2x4s to the pedals" so he could reach them. At 12 years old he made $40 playing at the Canadian Legion and he's "been hooked ever since." He trained as an auto mechanic but didn't like the work. His singing and playing would have been wasted dinking around with cars! These guys played for a dance at Gold Star and a dancer yelled, "Wow! We've got us a real dance band!" You'll agree. They are sure to become favorites in Quartzsite. The Quartzsite Improvement Asso- ciation (QIA) is proud to present them Wed. January 29th at 7 p.m. for an introductory price of only $5. QIA is located at 235 E. Ironwood. For more details call offi ce Monday thru Friday 9am-12 noon at 928-927-6325.
