Great improvements can be seen through our philanthropic, recruitment, membership, and brotherhood efforts. Derby Days Impresses Nationally Last spring's Derby Days was a resounding success. Brothers Hays Dubberly '21 and Joseph Upton '21 led the chapter as co-chairmen to raise more than $54,000 and donate over 500 units of blood (doubling last year's efforts). Donations benefitted the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Mississippi Blood Services, and Newks Cares. Because of their strong leadership and vision, Eta was nationally recognized as the Strongest House Manager Thomas Boone '22, Kustos Ryan Rodgers, Recruitment Chairman Charlie Chambers '21, Magister John Self '20, Judicial Chairman Russell Moran '21, Quaestor Silas Cosby '21, and Consul RG Pickering '20 represented Eta at the Krach Transformational Leadership Workshop in Bowling Green, Ohio, this past summer. Our officers contributed invaluable lessons, experiences, and ideas to discussions as Eta Chapter is the largest Sigma Chi chapter.
