16 www.DesertMessenger.com ADVENTURES WITH ROCKS From the Rocks, with Love By Jenn Jedidiah Free Well, here we are again…the end of another Quartzsite winter. Where has the season gone? Many of our friends have left already, and we haven't had time to see the ones who are still around. The Big Tent and all the shows came and went in a blur of activity that seems almost surreal in our memories. Some days it feels like it was just yesterday, and sometimes it seems like eons ago. Events that I think happened last week actually occurred a month ago or longer. Fortunately, Bob, our cherished UPS driver who picks up the orders we ship out, reminds us what day of the week it is or we would be up the proverbial creek, time-wise anyway. So here we are. March has come and gone, and business has just now begun Full-time position located in Parker, AZ Learning Center ITN and TV Services Supervisor La Paz County First review of applications 04/17/13. We are beginning to have some time to catch our breath and reflect on the past few months. They have been great, what we can remember of them anyway, and we are full of gratitude for another successful season. We have learned a lot and gained many new customers and friends. Relationships have grown with customers who have been loyal to us over several seasons here in Quartzsite. You, our customers and clients, have introduced us to new and exciting products, shown and taught us interesting things, entertained us, and challenged us to grow and evolve. In fact, we wouldn't be here, and we wouldn't be who we are, if it wasn't for you. So for this we must say a giant, heartfelt thank you. Thank you for letting us serve you. Thank you for being patient with us when things we were trying to order for you during the busy show season were taking longer than normal. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us, introducing us to exciting new products that you knew about and wanted us to carry, and inspiring us. Thanks for reading our column and telling your friends about us. Most of all, thank you for putting up with us when we were overwhelmed, tired and, yes, sometimes even cranky. We appreciate you. Lots. So, as we begin to wind down from the busy Quartzsite season and look forward to our summer, we wish you happy and safe travels.
