She met the love of her life, Myron "Ron" David Cleaver, on vacation in Minnesota and quickly announced to her sister that "he was the guy she was going to marry." They shared 48 years of marriage and had three children, Kev- an, Kim, and Pookie. Carol enjoyed playing ten- nis, camping with her family, road trips with the Sioux Falls Corvette Club, gardening, cooking, going to church, serving on the Alpha Xi Delta House Corporation, mission work, attending her grandchildren's games, and playing bingo. Kathleen Ertresvaag Hunt '92 entered Chap- ter Eternal on September 17, 2019. Upon grad- uation, she moved to Florida where she became a Broward County school teacher for 20 years and earned her National board certification. In her spare time, Kate enjoyed scrapbooking and was active in her daughters PTA. She was also an avid runner and enjoyed spending time with her countless friends, and family. ALUMNAE NEWS Heather Schwartzbaugh Forney '89 was named vice president of finance and adminis- tration for the South Dakota Board of Regents in August. Heather provides policy direction, support, and oversight of an $800 million bud- get, which serves 33,000 students and more than 5,000 employees at six public universities and two schools for special K-12 populations. Margo West Northrup '96 was appointed as a judge in South Dakota's Sixth Judicial Circuit, which encompasses 14 counties and is based in Pierre. She was sworn in and began judging in early November.
