MST in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Candidates in the TESOL program at the Pace University School of Education will gain knowledge of the multifaceted approach to teaching English language learners (ELLs), an increasing student population that requires a specialized study of language and literacy development, and differentiated instruction for students at all grade levels. DEGREE REQUIREMENTS (Duration of Program: 2 Years) This degree program is designed for career changers who want to teach culturally and linguistically diverse students in grades pre-K–12. TESOL is a growing field for both ESL teachers and general education and content area teachers with promising career opportunities domestically and internationally.
