Delta Gamma page 3 T he fall semester has been a productive one for Delta Gamma, full of opportunities for success and growth as a Chapter. We added 55 women during recruitment and seven more during continuous open bidding. Because of delayed recruitment, we provided a new pre- education process so the women would know more about the community they were joining. STEP-BY-STEP IMPROVEMENTS As you know, we are working hard to address the areas specified in our probation letter from January. Everyone is dedicated to making Tau the best Chapter it can be. Progress has been made, and we hope our hard work will pay off when Tau is re-evaluated in January. FALL BONDING After delayed recruitment, we had our first sisterhood event with the new members at the Trampoline Park, and it was so much fun! We look forward to our upcoming sisterhood re- treat and elections, followed by the holiday cozy gift exchange to finish off our fall semester. SLICES FOR SIGHT PHILANTHROPY Our fall philanthropic event, Slices for Sight, was a huge success, raising more than $3,000 for the Delta Gamma Foundation. We served pizza, cookies, cake, and brownies—Pie a DG was a popular activity too, of course! No spring event dates are set quite yet, but Anchor Splash will take place early in the semester. We would love to have alumnae attend! Thank you all for your continued support, and we hope to see you for a house visit soon!
