Visit Us Online ALUMNI NEWS Larry Brown '54 began active duty for the Air Force immediately following graduation, attended fighter school, and spent time as a GCI controller. After retiring from the Air Force, he became a pilot for United Airlines and flew the DC-10 for 14 years. Larry drove from Denver to Montana for the 50th house anniversary. He resides in Thornton, Colo., with his wife, Joan. Email: jdkrebs@brown-krebs.com Thomas Durant '54 retired from the U.S. Navy in 1984 and has been working and raising his children with his wife, Janet, ever since. He resides in Wilmington, N.C. Charles W. Bloom '57 retired 25 years ago and is working hard to create a life of indolence. He is flying around the country in his single-engine airplane, taking long cross-country trips on his motorcycle, restoring a Model A Ford Roadster, playing music, and enjoying time with his wife, Peggy. He is also teaching his 6-year-old granddaughter to shoot craps and play poker. Charlie lives in Missoula, Mont. Robert Romek '59 and Howard Hansen '60 still have lunch together every week in the summer. Fraternity brothers come up frequently during their lunches. Robert lives in Peoria, Ariz. Robert Swanson '61 moved to a lakeside community on Table Rock Lake with his wife, Edrie, following retirement. They enjoy boating, fishing, and the many activities Branson, Mo., has to offer. Ronald retired in December and resides in Highwood, Mont. Email: pral@3rivers.net Michael Baker '64 retired from the Army after 28 years of service and then retired from a 20-year career as an adjunct professor. He resides in Santa Barbara, Calif., with wife Patrice. Email: catnbak@yahoo.com Craig Kopet '70 graduated from the Mayo Clinic physical therapy graduate program in 1973, then served two years active duty in the Army at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colo. Craig moved to Seattle in 1975, where he started a private practice physical therapy clinic and raised his two sons alongside wife Chris. He is retired and lives in Seattle with his wife; they enjoy vacationing to Leavenworth, Wash., and Europe.
