G amma-Rho remains strong on Oklahoma's campus. Our active members do an excellent job of drawing in top new members to Lambda Chi Alpha. As we strive to be an even stronger Chapter, we look to our loyal alumni for various forms of support to afford our undergraduate members the same opportunities for leadership and growth we received. Brothers, your support is crucial to our success and the future of Gamma-Rho. As was mentioned in the summer edition of the Gamma Rhover, Gamma-Rho has some big shoes to fill following the retirements of High Pi Rodger Lalli, ΓΡ 1894 and Sigma Phi Housing Corporation President Bob Canfield, ΓΡ 876. Tyler Barrett, ΓΡ 2100 has taken over as High Pi and we are excited to see how he innovates the alumni board, but we need more alumni to volunteer. Volunteering at Gamma-Rho is easier than you might think. Volunteering is… • A minimum commitment of just one hour per month. • Easy to do from any location. • Critically needed for Gamma-Rho. Volunteering isn't… • A lifelong commitment to the alumni boards. • Serving as the Chapter's all-around adviser. • Extremely time-consuming. • Limited to local alumni. • All taken care of by current volunteers. We aren't just looking for volunteers with one skill set. Whether you have expertise in finance, marketing, communications, event planning, etc., you can impact Gamma-Rho by volunteering your time, knowledge, and effort. If you're interested in growing Gamma-Rho's alumni presence, please reach out to us at oklahomalambda@gmail.com. If you know other brothers who are on the fence about volunteering with Gamma-Rho, have a conversation with them about how they benefited from the Chapter. We might not have realized it at the time, but our Lambda Chi experience was impacted by alumni who volunteered. The undergraduate members of Gamma-Rho are developing our core characteristics of loyalty, duty, respect, service, stewardship, honor, integrity, and personal courage. Spending more time around alumni ensures that they will become our leaders of tomorrow. In Z.A.X., Gamma-Rho Alumni Association oklahomalambda@gmail.com
