Official Kids Mag has been busy getting out and seeing all of you! We went to the World Champion Squirrel Cook Off recently. We saw a few kids try squirrel. Check out the photos on page 13 to see if you know anyone. Did you go to the Wiener Takes All races in Bella Vista? Official Kids Mag was there snapping pictures of kids and their race dogs for Kids and their Pets on page 10. Each month we'll have pet safety tips, too. Send photos of your pet in and tell us why you love them. We love putting your playful pets in Official Kids Mag. Reading is a great way to relax. Go to page 14 for the Official Kids Mag list of good books for November. Our topic is gratitude. Let us know what your favorite is by sending an email to renee@officiakidsmag.com. Green Kids on page 6 is about food gratitude. Discover ways to reduce food waste and reduce landfill waste. Official Kids Mag included a great experiment on composting you can do with your friends. See who has the best composted soil! Everyone should be part of recycling and reusing to keep our planet green and reduce space in landfills. Weird and Wonderful in Arkansas is closer than you think for November. See what town is underwater near us on page 16. Chef Brigham Cook was at The Jones Center for another cooking class with kids. It was International Desserts and you can find out what they made by going to Kids in the Kitchen on page 36. Hint: you may eat it at Thanksgiving. Official Kids Mag hung out with a real GREEN team at Lake Fort Smith. We had fun walking the lake trails to pick up trash. A good rule is to leave the park better then you found it when you go camping or hiking. Grab a pencil and a snack. It's time to dive in to this month's Official Kids Mag Activity Pages.
