Quartzsite is known for its RV and OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) friendly at- mosphere. Trails lead in all directions from town with beautiful desert scen- ery along the way. For Off Road drive enthusiasts there are over 1,000 miles of BLM designated OHV roads and trails to take you into every nook and cranny imaginable. From slot canyons and blue faced mountains to cool oases and tall peaks, there is something for everyone. Quartzsite is also the Gateway to the Arizona Peace Trail, a 750 mile OHV Loop Trail system from Yuma to Bull- head City. Riders will experience dra- matic elevation changes that range from 170 ft. along the banks of the Colorado River to the 7070 ft. moun- tain tops in the Hualapai Mountains. With the influx of RV snowbirds there's plenty to do all winter long.
