Wes Davis founded CommerCial Building inC.
(CBI) in 2008 after working in the commercial construction industry for 17 years. Commercial Building Inc. is
responsible for building many North Carolina commercial
structures, including the Spout Springs Retail Shopping
Center and the Parks Optometry building, both just north
of Spring Lake.
CBI has also completed 34 commercial free-standing
buildings, renovations and upfits, including the offices for
Cape Fear Podiatry and the new Fayetteville Hyperbarics
offices. CBI is currently constructing a YMCA facility at
Northgate Shopping Center on Ramsey Street.
Davis was trained by Rodgers Builders, one of the top
10 commercial building firms in North Carolina. Rodgers
Builders specializes in constructing medical facilities. Davis���
experience with Rodgers Builders has helped him tailor his
work to suit the needs of those in the medical profession.
In addition to being Fayetteville���s commercial upfit spe-
cialist, CBI prides itself on being a ���big town builder, with
small town prices.��� Plans are designed fast, with a dedicated
eye to efficiency and accuracy.
���Most of my clients are in a rush,��� Davis said. ���They need
to start construction quick and they���re on a budget. Through
our design-build process, we are able to design the plans fast,
get the client on budget, and start construction quick.���
Davis, who is also CBI���s president and project manager,
has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University, making him one of the
few commercial general contractors to be college educated
in construction, on top of the years of hands-on training he
gleaned from his many years on the job.
