COMMUNITY,
AND BROTHERHOOD

earning a 4.0 in the spring 2019 semester. We
also recorded 1,543 community service hours
and donated $3,500 to our philanthropy. e
chapter held 12 educational events, which
ranked second among other fraternities. ere

improving this chapter and extremely excited to
dominate this fall. We have already recruited 39
new members.
Zeta Chi excelled last semester, earning a
first-place finish in Greek Week. e tireless
work the chapter devoted to Greek Week put
us above the rest. Zeta Chi and Delta Zeta
members competed in Greek Jam, a dancing
competition, and earned a first-place finish as
well! Matthew Dodge '18 placed third as our
Greek God. ese major accomplishments and
many more resulted in yet another FSL compe-
tition win!
Brotherhood was a major focus in the spring.
e chapter voted to reinstall the member-at-
large position. Jake Stork '18 took on the role
and has been working with the chapter and
executive council to solve problems and find
new ways to strengthen our brotherhood bond.
Aer all, we are brothers for life and the bond
we share can never be broken.
On August 4, Zeta Chi won our first Smythe!
is milestone has been long awaited. e
blood, sweat, and tears the chapter devoted this
past year proved to Nationals that Zeta Chi
is one of the best Pi Kappa Alpha chapters in
the nation. Ethan Johnson '16, Logan Graybill
'16, and our chapter advisor, Zach Dumas '12,
were able to attend the academy in Memphis to
receive the Smythe. In addition, Ethan spoke at
one of the lectures on his role as mental health
chairman and how prominent it is in Greek life.
Zeta Chi is proud of all the accomplisments
this past semester and cannot wait for the
opportunities to come. We are constanty
looking for new ideas and ways to take this
chapter to the next level. Aer winning a
Smythe and experiencing the feelings it brings,
the chapter is on the hunt to win another

the upcoming Pikes Pulled Pork/Fireman's
