Combined MSEd in Educational Leadership-School District Business Leader and MPA Choose the path that works for you. and operational functions that help ensure the quality of learning for all students within a school district. This 60-credit program, which is offered online, will lead to a dual master's degree in Educational Leadership (with a specialization in School District Business Leadership) and in Public Administration. Candidates elect to complete either a programmatic track in government or non-profit management as part of their MPA studies, gaining knowledge in efficient organizational operations. This program includes a 600-hour internship to prepare candidates for success on the required New York State Certification Examination for School District Business Leader. The ever-changing demands on our public schools require administrative leaders who can successfully manage vital business functions and resources to educate our youth. To become a certified School District Business Leader (SDBL), a candidate must hold a master's degree and then enroll in an MSEd program in educational leadership, with an SDBL focus. This combined degree program is for candidates who do not currently hold a master's degree.
