October is Domestic Violence
Awareness Month and Colora-
do River Regional Crisis Shelter
(CRRCS) is hosting the Autumn
Awareness Festival featuring Kev-
in Jaxson and the Midnight Sun.
The event takes place at Western
Park Friday, October 19th from
6pm to 10pm.
This is a free event, however tick-
ets must be picked up in advance
from the CRRCS offi ces at 1301
Joshua Ave., Parker or the Parker
Chamber before noon Oct. 17th.
Tickets at the gate will be $10.
There will be food and the Sorop-
tomist Diva Bar. Please bring your
own lawn chairs and join in the
