It's finally fall and Official Kids Mag is excited to get out and meet so many of you awesome kids and see what you are doing and learning! Prairie Creek Park was the place to be to learn about one of our precious resources, WATER! Check out page 6 to see who went to SECCHI Day on Beaver Lake. These awesome kids found out about water quality and ecology. It's up to all of us to keep our water clean. Did you know reading books exercises your mind? Bentonville Library gave us a great list of FUN READS for October. The book list is all about Halloween and Harvest; there is even a book about how to pick the best pumpkin! Grab a book and get some exercise today. You just might learn something! What might be lurking around Boggy Creek? You have to go to page 16 to find out. Hint: you might need that book about how to pick the best pumpkin. What is October without a Harvest Festival or a Corn Maze? Official Kids Mag has a list you can share with your adult with some of the fun places to go this month. Page 40 has all the details and times. Playing dress up is always fun, and even better with costumes. Official Kids Mag went scavenging around and found some kids who are getting ready for Halloween. See their choices on page 42.
