MAKE A DONATION Your one-time donation or pledge of any amount will impact the future success of Sigma Psi. GIFT STRUCTURE Because of the significance of this investment, we are urging all alumnae to consider major gifts to the campaign. For each alumna to maximize her participation, gifts can be structured over a five-year pledge period. Gifts in honor or in memory of other Kappa Deltas, as well as family gifts, are welcome. Recognition in such cases will be given to both the donor and the honoree. DONOR RECOGNITION Each of us has contributed to the history of Sigma Psi, and we would like to see each member's name listed in the house. Each donor who contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque. All donors contributing $1,000 or more to the campaign will be recognized in campaign publications. NON-TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS Gifts through the Sigma Psi Housing, LLC are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes but are essential for achieving the goal of constructing both the educational and non-educational areas of the chapter house. Achieving the vision of a new chapter house is not possible without your support. TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS A percentage of gifts to the campaign are tax deductible through the Kappa Delta Foundation. The Internal Revenue Service will allow exclusively educational space in the home to be funded with tax-deductible dollars that are gifted to the Kappa Delta Foundation and designated for the Sigma Psi Chapter. Gifts of $10,000 and above may be eligible on a first-come, first-served basis. STOCK*: A contribution of appreciated publicly traded securities is an excellent way to support the campaign. You may gift appreciated securities you have held for at least one year to the Kappa Delta Foundation and generally take a deduction for the full fair-market value. MATCHING GIFT*: If your employer offers a matching gift program, you may be able to double your contribution to the Sigma Psi Educational and Technology Fund.
