20 - SENIOR Health Fair - September 11, 2019 Arkansas is aging. Thousands of seniors already need some form of assistance. Thousands more will require care in the coming decades. Traditional c a r e f a c i l - i t i e s , s u c h as hospitals and nursing homes, are not designed t o h a n d l e t h e c a r e needs of healthier, active seniors who want to age at home. Family members are already stretched thin. Home Care is a vital part of the health care contin- uum. It allows seniors to age wherever they prefer. It provides peace of mind to family members who know their loved ones are getting the care they need and deserve. It improves the health, safety and emotional wellbeing of Arkansas' elderly and eases the burden on already- strained public health resources. The Home Instead Senior Care® network is passionate about caring for seniors and their family members. The care we provide goes beyond the relationship between seniors and their professional CAREGivers SM. We support seniors, their fami- lies and our CAREGivers 24/7 and offer quality assurance visits to connect with everyone involved in the care plan. This ensures the highest quality of care. Our CAREGivers are trained in the practical aspects of aging, such as how to assist with personal care and home safety. They receive ongoing training, which allows them to provide care the only way the Home Instead Senior Care network can; through building trust, taking the lead and sharing their heart. CAREGivers take time to learn about their clients to help engage and support them today and in the future. Home Instead Senior Care of NWA has been Changing the Face of Aging in Northwest Arkansas since February 2001. We do this through the personal and memory care services provided by our well-trained CAREGiv- ers. Our honest, professional staff feels that "To us, it's personal" and provides assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, medica- tion reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, incidental trans- portation and shopping. In addition, CAREGivers are trained in the network's groundbreaking Alzheimer's Disease or Other Dementias CARE: Changing Aging Through Research and Education® Program. This world class curriculum is also available free to family caregivers online or through local Home Instead Senior Care offices in Springdale and Rogers. At Home Instead Senior Care, it's relationship before task, while continuing to provide superior quality service. We invite your family to join our family.
