12 - SENIOR Health Fair - September 11, 2019 There will be a book signing and introduction to Author Walter S. Geeding on September 19th at The Senior Expo Riordan Hall 3 Riordan Dr., Bella Vista , AR Walter S. Geeding Author Spotlight W. Stephen Geeding is not a typical novelist and author. After a legal career spanning 22 years, he has found what he loves – writing. In addition to being a lawyer and author, Geeding is very much a survivalist, traveller, beekeeper and observer. If he needs a wall built, he will learn how to build it and do it himself. His quaint "old school" ideals add to this gentleman's charm. Geeding has loved writing since his first poem at seven years old. Since then, he has continued to write when he had time, and is now transitioning to writing as much as time will allow. His writing office is a quiet, peaceful cabin on the Elk River. This Hemingway-like ambiance filled with the rustling sounds of nature and undertones of flowing water is the perfect atmosphere for penning his next novel, and many more to come. Steve Geeding is a versatile author, not intimidated by crossing genres as evidenced by his Christmas collec- tion, Even the Mice Get Fat, published in 2015. This is a collection of poems, short stories and songs. G e e d i n g r e c e n t ly p u b l i s h e d a science-fiction style trilogy series. The first book, Colony Book One: The End is a compelling look at what tran- spires after a nuclear attack and the following apocalypse, includ- ing the disappearance of bees. Colony Book Two: Narrations of Nui introduces past betrayals against humanity and has the main character, Steve, working through the past to alongside his grand- father to prevent the destruction of all humanity. The third in the series, Colony Book Three: The Beginning brings the Steve back from the past, tethering the first and third books together with the dilemma of following light or dark. The next novel W. Stephen Geeding has in the works has a western theme. His writing office in the Ozark hills, complete with caves and his riverfront cabin, couldn't be a more perfect back- drop for inspiration. You can find Geeding's books on Amazon, and also available on Kindle. Look for his booth at the Fall Senior Expo, where he'll be signing and selling his books. Attorney W.
