Of course, they're on a mission to save a feisty princess. • March 5-22: "Murder for Two" is a zany musical comedy and madcap mystery. One actor plays the investigator while another actor plays all 13 suspects. Both sing and play a piano. • April 9-26: "e Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" tells the story of a 15-year-old boy on the autism spectrum who decides to try to find out who killed his neighbor's dog. His investigation uncovers his own family's secrets and changes his life. • May 14-31: "Jelly's Last Jam" is based on the life and times of ragtime and jazz legend Jelly Roll Morton. Expect lots of great music. e theater also presents a local favorite every Christmas season. "e Best Christmas Pageant Ever" is a comic tale about a couple attempting to put on a church Christmas pageant. e play always features local actors, including children. is year's run is December 5-22. Located in a three-story complex on Hay Street, the Cape Fear Regional theater uses a mix of professional actors and theater personnel from around the country and talented local performers. e theater can seat more than 300 people but creates more intimate seating right on its stage for smaller shows.
