Like many other churches, our membership has suffered over the years and today, St. Joseph's congregation is relatively small. But it is ever committed to its mission of being a caring Christian community which welcomes all and actively engages in God's call to go and serve. rough its Men's Club, e Brotherhood of St. Andrew, St. Joseph's systematically contributes food to a local school to help children who otherwise would not have anything to eat over the weekend. e church is working to establish a college outreach ministry in Fayetteville. Our Episcopal Church Women are engaged in a knitting ministry in which they knit baby blankets, booties and the like for distribution as needed. e choir of St. Joseph's, under the direction of Sharon McNair, annually conducts a Christmas Cantata which is generally well attended and has become a part of the Fayetteville Christmas tradition. e church has a diverse membership with parishioners representing Africa, Barbados, Panama, the U.S. Virgin Islands and several states, which in effect strengthens its ability under God to carry out His work in the world. Now under the spiritual leadership of the Rev. Ralph Clark, the church is prepared to continue its mission and to face the challenges that this world brings. We welcome all.
