DAILY SPECIALS The Salvation Army happenings We have given out almost 500 bottles of cold water this past month. We hear almost daily of community folks having heat related issues. See attached poster of the importance of water to our bodies. Our air-conditioned store is greatly ap- preciated by all of us. It is not to early to start thinking about being a volunteer bell ringer for us. Come in and get an application You can select your day, time, and location. 100% of funds collected through this campaign stays in our local community. In June we sent seven local kids to a week-long Salvation Army summer camp in Heber Arizona. Thanks, Marcia, for a phenomenal job of re- packaging our adult and child diapers we pur- chased in bulk with Town of Quartzsite grant funding. Remember that we have both adult and child size diapers for those in need of assistance on a monthly basis. Photo identifi cation is all that is needed to register for this program. We do recycle egg cartons, CRV marked clean glass, plastic, and aluminum cans. Thanks for your donations. Come see the newly redesigned fabric corner. Some fabric is now clipped on hangers.
