It's remarkable to think the local Phi Alpha Fraternity, installed as the Indiana Sigma Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, has operated continuously since October 25, 1969. It is a testament to our determination, enthusiasm, and perseverance. Since then, more than 1,100 men have been initiated as brothers of our Chapter, from our first initiate (pin number 140,222) to our most recent initiate (pin number 339,035). While we don't have an exact number, hundreds of young women choose to affiliate with Indiana Sigma as little sisters and Chapter sweethearts, contributing greatly to our history and success. The 50th Anniversary is going to be a unique milestone to recommit to what should never change—the deep friendships and good memories which have been a cornerstone of the Indiana Sigma experience. We look forward to seeing you the weekend of October 25-27 at the Indiana Sigma 50th Anniversary. Evanston, IL 60201 Please write on the memo line "Indiana Sigma CAF." P.S. Jack Nies '72 and Doug Nies '74 should be recognized for their efforts to properly secure these lions. The adhesive they used must have been NASA grade stuff. There have been numerous attempted thefts/kidnappings of the lions over the years, and believe it or not, none were successful. Well done brothers! Jack and Doug, can you help us with some more of that adhesive? Original Lions Set to Return Home (Continued from page 1) Candlewood Suites Hilton Garden Inn
