Not a "one-size-fits-all" broker Before you know what John Jacquat can do for your club, it's good to know what he is. Jacquat is an insurance broker, not an agent. An insurance agent represents an insurance carrier—the Hartfords or the Travellers of the world—and their best interests. Diametrically, a broker represents the client, the insurance purchaser. John Jacquat is a broker. He's the middle-man bridging the client to the coverage, and works with multiple insurance companies to gain the best coverage for the best price. Insurance is the great equalizer, too. Whether you're a single-club operator or executive overseeing a chain of venues, you must carry insurance. It's a necessary portion of your business. A broker, like Jacquat, will help you determine which policies work best in protecting your club, whether you're rocking 900 square feet or 19,000. The peace of mind that John Jacquat's Pure Risk Solutions provides has no boundaries. "It doesn't matter so much in the size of your operation compared to what state you are located in," Jacquat mentions. "For example, some states require clubs to carry liquor liability, while most states require clubs to carry workers' compensation. Those are the only two policies mandated by legislation." (Editor's note, every state in the U.S. requires workers compensation insurance except Texas.) Being a broker, Jacquat is licensed in most states; if your club resides in a state where he isn't, Jacquat makes arrangements to extend his license there as well through the proper channels as regulated by state law. It's this sort of instant flexibility that has built his reputation with club owners. And while he know most owners are aware of the generalities of insurance policies, Jacquat is available to filter through the confusion so that they know exactly what is available to them. "A lot of insurance is price-driven, but my job is to consistently tell owners what kind of policies they can afford and the ones that may suit them best, not just stacks of paper located in their safes that won't cover their business if something happens," he says. One coverage Jacquat frequently advises his clients on is property insurance, specifically the "business income" or "business interruption" coverage. This protects a club owner after a fire or other damage that leaves the building in state in repair and long-term closure. This policy, basically, www.ExoticDancer.com "In today's insurance marketplace, innovation and originality are important—but unless they're accompanied by integrity and personalized service, they do little to accomplish a club owner's goals. ACE National is proud to recognize John Jacquat and his company, Pure Risk Solutions, as one of our top-ranked premier industry providers. John has consistently mastered achievement in leadership, creating the best product for a client's needs and following through on his word. I can recommend Mr. Jacquat without reserve if you're in the market for adult club insurance."   — Angelina Spencer, Executive Director of ACE National Club Bulletin March 2013 11
