It made sex-offender reg- istration information public and created guidelines for community notifi cation. Quartzsite Police Department is- sues notifi cations pursuant to ARS 13-3825, the Community Notifi ca- tion of Sex Offender Law. Notifi - cation must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona State Prison, accepted under an Interstate Compact or released from the county jail back into the community. The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) has estab- lished a website according to the requirements of A.R.S. 13-3827. DPS is responsible for maintain- ing the site and annually verifying the addresses of all registered sex offenders. The purpose of the Arizona sex offender information website is to provide information to the pub- lic concerning the location of sex offenders within Arizona. The site is NOT intended to supplant the community notifi cation process, but rather, it allows the criminal justice community to promote public awareness concerning the potential threat that sex offend- ers pose to Arizona citizens. An informed public is a safer public! Visit the website to search for sex offenders in your area: http://www.azdps.gov/ser- vices/public/sex-offender Ron Stoltz Ron Stoltz was born July 28, 1939. In Memoriam A Message from Saginaw Grant: "As Native people, we are taught by our grandpas and grandmas while growing up to always respect one another, to be good to one an- other, never put people down and to help each other. This is the way of my people, the Native people. It brings me much sadness the things that I have read lately here on these Facebook pages and on the internet. The harsh words that I have read putting people down. Innocent people, people that some of you do not even know personally yet you take it upon yourself to go on and on about them, about this movie that I am in (The Lone Rang- er). I have enjoyed every moment on the set of this movie, the fi lming of this move and the many friends that I have met making this movie. Every single one that were hired in this movie worked very hard, we were able to feed our families because of this of which I am very thankful for. If you have dissatisfaction in life you must take it upon yourself to do something good for your own com- munity. Help our people living in the poorest reservation, help our elders, our children. Do something positive so in turn you will feel good about yourself rather than being angry all the time. Being angry will bring you sickness in your life, you will not be able to go on living a happy life with this kind of attitude. The message I want to get out to "all" people out there reading this, is to be satisfi ed with life, know who you are. If you know who are then you can have peace in your life, you will never have to be concerned of what others may think of you. I want to remind everyone who has met with me and for those whom I have yet to meet is to have the respect for others. Look at your- self fi rst and ask, "Am I satisfi ed and happy with myself" and have respect for everyone, this will allow you to live a good life." -Saginaw M. Grant. An elder's wisdom
