They finished the regular season 15-5 and swept through the sub-state, beating Maranatha Academy by 20 points. They then advanced to the state tournament at Fort Hays State University in Hays, where the Seahawks battled Ness City in the quarterfinals. Neither team would give in and a clutch three- pointer by Zach Bloch sent the game into overtime. The Seahawks had a lead late in overtime but lost with a heartbreaking missed shot at the buzzer. Ness City went on to win state, leaving Seahawk fans asking, "What if?" The team is excited to get back to work and return to state next season. The roster is young, as the starting lineup this season boasted only one senior, albeit a great one, Chris Green '19. The rest of the 'hawks will be back and flying high in the 2019-20 season!
