Louisiana Tech appreciates the leadership Eta Zeta Chapter undergraduates have provided the university for nearly 60 years. Your alumni have assumed key business, professional, political, and academic positions throughout the nation. I am pleased to report that the Greek system is alive and well at Louisiana Tech. Many fraternities and sororities are planning and carrying out renovations to improve the life-safety features of the Greek houses. These projects can only happen with the support of alumni. The decision to provide an excellent living and social environment with first-rate study and meeting accommodations will enhance the overall university experience for our undergraduates. Greeks remain loyal to their university. A high proportion of leadership in the university's alumni association and the foundation are Greek alumni. We know that something about the Greek experience fosters involvement and loyalty. A strong university depends on talented undergraduates and supportive alumni. With that premise in mind, the university embarked upon its boldest fundraising initiative in Louisiana Tech University history—the $125 million "Forever Loyal" campaign—inspired by the achievements of the university's first 125 years, the remarkable loyalty of alumni and friends, and the extraordinary potential for growth.
