Epsilon sponsored three children at this year's Epsilon Places First in Strollers Show, Welcomes 37 New Initiates E psilon celebrated all of spring semester. First, we held initiation in January and then again in April, welcoming 37 women into our sisterhood. We also started the semester off strong with 28 women on the Dean's List. In February, the women of Alpha Xi Delta were able to spend a day celebrating the women that placed us on this Earth. Mom's Day was a great success with so many people in attendance that we filled the dining room and most of the formal living room. In April, Epsilon was also able to bring home the best banner award and first place at the Strollers Show with Lambda Chi Alpha and Delta Tau Delta! Throughout our time working on the show we strengthened our bonds with our pairings and even held two sisterhood/brotherhood dinners with the gentlemen of Lambda Chi Alpha. As we continue to use our platform to spread awareness with Autism Speaks, we held our annual Step It Up 5K and raised close to $2,000. Light It Up Blue week was a success. During the push day Epsilon placed fourth out of all of the participating Alpha Xi Delta chapters for fundraising. In addition, we held our Founder's Day on April 7, and are so grateful for everyone that took time out of their busy schedules to help celebrate 116 years on campus. You continue to remind our current chapter members how to live up to the ideals that have been set before them every day.
