OK Alpha AVC Awarded Chapter Home of the Year! Read more on page 7. E very day your actions convey dozens of messages—from the message you send your child when you help with their homework to the message you send your community each time you recycle, or the message you send a stranger by holding open a door. Whether you realize it or not, these messages define who you are and how you're perceived. At OSU, SigEp members are defined by their commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and building men of strong character, as evidenced by the chapter earning the third highest all-fraternity GPA and the numerous brothers who serve in leadership position on campus. These achievements send messages to us, as alumni, that the undergraduates who make up OK Alpha today strive to uphold our commitment to Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Have you considered what message you are sending these young men when you volunteer to serve on the house corporation or advisory board, attend an alumni event, or add your name to our campaign donor list? We know that balancing careers, families, and other personal organizations isn't easy, but one of the best ways you can contribute to the OK Alpha Chapter is by participating in our fundraising effort. Although construction is complete, we had to take a bridge loan of $250,000 that is due this December. If you have yet to make a gift, please consider using the inserted pledge form to give now. If you are behind on payments toward an existing pledge, make any payment amount as soon as you can. Every dollar makes a difference. What message will you send our undergraduate brothers? Just as alumni exhibited their commitment last fall, I ask you to do the same this spring. Join me and the other 174 campaign donors in showing OK Alpha members that you still care by making a financial contribution. Just as every undergraduate plays an active role in sharing the message of where our chapter is going, each of our 1,225 alumni can demonstrate the value we place in our history through contributing to OK Alpha today. Fraternally, Mike Reddout '85 Building Committee Chairman (580) 380-6565
