Hey Kids!
Did you know June is National Camping month?
This issue of Official Kids Mag is about camping and
outdoor fun. There are so many things to do in the
great outdoors!
Let's start with places to go. On page 42 we
have a list of some of the campgrounds around the
Northwest Arkansas area so you have new places to
start new adventures. If you visit other campgrounds
not on the list, send us an email to let us know at
renee@officialkidsmag.com so we can include your
favorites.
Make sure you check out page 44 to see how to
leave your campground and places you visit just like
you found it or better.
You don't have to go to a park or campground to spend the night under the
stars. You can have a practice campout in your backyard. You can put up a tent,
and cook on the grill just like if you were in the woods.
The GRILL! I almost forgot – we have recipes you can make on the grill or
campfire for your family on page 10 for Kids in the Kitchen. These are fun
recipes you can make for your family and show them what you know! Grab

For our Kid Chef we found Molly from Branson. She is a true chef who has
traveled around the world at 10 years old. See what she loves to cook.
And our kid hero, Ryan Durby, is an inspiration to everyone, and he knows
how to put up a good fight!
