Subscribe at careercollegecentral.com 4 Dear Readers, We hope you have all had an engaging and successful spring semester! As we wrap up the 2018–2019 school year, Career College Central is eager to share new information and insights for the mechanical sciences industry and its most popular career paths. We bring you a list of the top 20 cities with the highest employment of automotive service technicians and mechanics, as well as data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on some of the most popular (and growing) careers in the mechanical sciences field. Digital innovation and engagement remain top of mind for many of our partners, which is why we're excited to continue our series on digital transformation. Schools are leveraging technology beyond online course offerings and we want to help you succeed in providing exceptional digital services to your students, especially those digital natives who make up Generation Z. We're also continuing to bring resources to schools to support them in connecting with high school seniors as they consider the next steps in their educational journeys. LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER Robert "Bob" Martin 2019 is a big year for the Imagine America Foundation as we celebrate the twentieth anniversary of our scholarship and award programs! Looking back on two decades of supporting students with tuition help, IAF is shining the spotlight on the partners who have made it possible: schools who have worked with us from the beginning and alumni who have found career success thanks to their postsecondary education. We're bringing this edition of CCC to you in paper format— in addition to our convenient digital edition—in honor of the CECU (Career Education Colleges and Universities) annual convention, taking place in New Orleans the first week of June. We can't wait to see you there! Don't forget to follow our blog and join our email newsletter to make sure you see all the latest resources from CCC and IAF! And remember to download our mobile app (available for free in both the Apple and Android app stores) so you can stay up-to-date wherever you are. Wishing all of our students, schools, and partners a wonderful summer! Sincerely, Bob Martin Publisher, Career College Central
