Others fantasize about older cars that look like new – and also extra cool. at's where Mitch Peterson and Kalvin Daniels can come in. e partners own I-95 Muscle, a used car dealership in Hope Mills that specializes in selling muscle, collector, hot rod, rare and performance cars. Peterson and Daniels opened the business in 2016 to fill what they saw as a need for a retail space for local car enthusiasts to buy, sell and trade cars that stand out from the rest. Selling cars locally and to buyers online from as far away as New York and Utah, and even China, Peterson feels their business caters to a special niche of drivers as well as to everyday motorists. "Fayetteville was missing a reputable place to get a custom or classic car or lied truck before we opened," Peterson said. "Everyone else has cookie-cutter kinds of cars. We offer custom, classic, hot rods, low riders, lied vehicles, high horsepower performance, muscle cars and other specialty vehicles." Peterson and Daniels started their business only aer learning the ins and outs of fixing and selling cars in other arenas. Peterson started selling cars at age 18 and worked his way up to general sales manager at an auto mall before opening I-95 Muscle. Daniels trained and worked as a mechanic during a four-year stint in the U.S. Army. Aer his military service, he worked as a mechanic in a civilian job on Fort Bragg. He then le the repair shop for the sales floor and worked with Peterson for a local car dealer, where
