Dr. Deidra A. Blanks, who practices
at Fayetteville Otolaryngology, has
extensive training and experience in
those areas and holds certifications
from two medical boards – the
American Board of Otolaryngology
and the American Board of Facial
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
A native of Lake Waccamaw, Dr. Blanks
earned her medical degree at East
Carolina University and completed her
residency in Otolaryngology, Head &
Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery
at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill.
Following her residency, Dr. Blanks was
one of only 37 surgeons in the country
to be accepted into a facial plastic and
reconstructive surgery fellowship at the
University of Missouri. She completed
that advanced training, focusing solely
on the face.
Aer practicing in Wilmington for
several years, she joined Fayetteville
Otolaryngology in January 2018.
