"You are presenting a meal to underprivileged people who need hope and inspiration," he said, "to say hey, we're here to help." Fayetteville Tech student Donna Barker worked in the Inasmuch kitchen this spring. e retired Air Force master sergeant said the experience has been invaluable. "I get to use everything that I learned at FTCC," she said. But it's been more than just practical experience. "My heart feels good here," she said. "I fell in love with it." Belton said he plans to have more interns from Fayetteville Tech come to work at Operation Inasmuch later this year. "Everything has been going smoothly,'' he said. "ey really enjoy the program. ey love the interaction we have. Our curriculum is pretty much on point with each other, what needs to be taught and what needs to be learned. We are working hand in hand right now." While not everyone is cut out to be a helper in the kitchen like the culinary arts students, Belton said Operation Inasmuch always welcomes volunteers for other duties, along with donations from those who don't have the time to come work at the facility.
