COFFEE MEETINGS Members are invited to get to know our elected officials and have a conversation about local busi- ness issues. Guests include California State Senator Mike McGuire, Marin County Supervisors, and the Mayor and City Council members of San Rafael. ACCESS SACRAMENTO Meet with top California lawmakers and key government officials to discuss issues and legislation impacting North Bay business and serve as a voice for North Bay business in Sacramento. REPRESENTATION AT CIT Y COUNCIL & PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS Chamber leadership attends and participates in these meetings in order to educate local officials on business priorities and shape public policy so that it fosters economic growth. GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS & ECONOMIC VITALIT Y TEAMS These teams focus on key issues affecting our members, hear from local stakeholders, monitor legis- lation, identify obstacles to growth, develop positions and recommendations, and determine how the Chamber can be effective in shaping solutions that will be beneficial to our members and the community at large. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMIT TEE MEETINGS Chamber representatives meet monthly with the mayor of San Rafael , the city manager and the eco- nomic development department along with city council members to share member concerns and weigh in on the latest developments in the city.
