A bird's eye view of the floorplan of the expansion and renovation. BUILDING ON OUR MISSION A Campaign for Bishop Seabur y Academy CONSTRUCTION STARTS THIS SUMMER! Nearly $3.7 Million Raised Toward Building on Our Mission Campaign S everal years ago, the Board of Trustees and the Seabury administration began the process of assessing our school's strengths and our most pressing needs, resulting in a design for campus expansion that would achieve our most important objectives. After considering the present momentum of the capital campaign, the funds raised thus far, and the necessity to provide students and faculty with improved facilities, the Board has voted unanimously to move forward with construction this summer. At this point, we have raised nearly $3.7 million. As someone who has been involved with almost every capital project at Seabury, I can say that the success of our present capital fundraising eclipses every prior campaign in the school's history. We still have a ways to go to fund the entire $5.2 million expansion, and we will continue to solicit donations until we have met our goal. Over the last two decades, I have been a parent, a trustee, and a donor to Bishop Seabury Academy, and this project means a great deal to me personally because I know how important it will be for all of us, especially the students and the faculty. The Board of Trustees believes this campus expansion will help the school continue its trajectory of success and provide the necessary resources to Dr. Schawang and his staff to help all of our future students truly explore their potential. Yours respectfully, Reed and Stacey Dillon Campaign Chairmen/Alumni Parents F our Seabury families (parents, alumni parents, and a grandparent) agreed to match new gifts during the month of March dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000. Thanks to the Seabury community's generosity, we had a fantastic response to this opportunity to double the impact of donations in support of the Building on Our Mission campaign. A total of $279,730 was raised! Thank you for your continued support of Seabury!
