42 Museums Remembering history To truly know Tehama County, you have to take a look back at the past that made it what it is today. There are a variety of museums in the area to help do just that. The Red Bluff Round-Up Museum The Red Bluff Round- Up Museum provides a look back at the history of the Round-Up Rodeo, which dates back to 1921. Next to the Tehama District Fairground on Antelope Boulevard, the museum is open 1-5 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and Kelly-Griggs House Museum The Kelly-Griggs House Museum, 311 Washington St. in Red Bluff, is a classic Victorian home that has been converted into an exhibition of antique wares from Tehama County’s past century. More information on the museum and Tehama County Museum On the corner of 3rd and C streets in Tehama, the Tehama County Museum preserves and exhibits artifacts that represent the cultural heritage of Tehama County. It is open year-round on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. and is housed in the former Masonic Hall of Tehama. It, along with Habert Park, across the street is the center of most community events. The museum is closed during Round-Up, in mid-April, on Friday and Saturday because the facilities are used for hospitality and hosting.
