Alpha Slants of BETA THETA PI A L U M N I N E W S L E T T E R S P R I N G 2 0 1 9 Alpha Chapter Brothers, Don't Miss Your Chance to Join 325 of Our Alumni to Help Us Reach Our $4 Million Goal L ast year was a historic one for Alpha Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. We completed the renovation of our chapter house and celebrated our 100th anniversary at 200 E. High Street with a fantastic alumni reunion and house dedication. Of course, it gives us great pride to look upon our newly renovated chapter house, and we are deeply grateful and thankful to the hundreds of alumni who have helped make this dream a reality. 2019 is equally as important to the future of the Alpha Chapter. It would be easy to assume that since the construction and renovation of our chapter house is complete that our fundraising efforts are done as well. However, we are still in need of raising additional pledge commitments and collecting pledge payments so that we can pay off our bridge loan and minimize our house mortgage. So, we need everyone's continued support to help us with this year's three major initiatives: • raise $100,000+ in additional gifts and/or pledge commitments, • provide ongoing funding for our Leadership Coaching Program with GAINT Worldwide Consulting and, • provide ongoing funding for our live-in House Director (House Mother) position. So, if you have not yet made a pledge, please consider doing so, no matter how large or small. And if you have already given, please consider making an additional pledge and/or accelerating your pledge payments to support our major initiatives and our mission, "To Develop Men of Principle for a Principled Life." We ask that you please send in your new or additional pledge commitments NOW using the envelope that is included with this newsletter. Remember, your pledges to the Beta Foundation or Miami University Foundation are 100% tax deductible. So far, we have received $3,892,724 in pledge commitments from 325 of our alumni and need your additional help and support to help us reach our $4 million campaign goal. So, what are you waiting for? Please consider making a new or additional pledge commitment TODAY! The original Alpha chapter house was built a century ago and was home to hundreds of Alpha Chapter brothers. There is no reason why our newly renovated chapter house won't last for another 100 years. Your contribution is a long-term investment that will contribute to the education and development of hundreds of new Alpha Betas.
