Delta Tau Delta - Oklahoma State University

DELTA CHI NEWS PAGE 2 CHAPTER INITIATES 30 MEN, WINS BIG IN FRESHMAN FOLLIES T his past fall semester was a great one for the Delta Chi Chapter. We placed in the top 10 for grades on campus and initiated 30 men in Fall 2018 with a brand-new recruitment team. A majority of the men are from Oklahoma and Texas and one is from Australia. For our second straight year we were paired for Homecoming, this year with the women of Delta Delta Delta. Together we created a large deck that was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed. We won best sign, voted on by the alumni committee, and a fan favorite award. I am very proud of the progress that has been made the last two years. With the showing of our deck, we put on a carnival in our parking lot to raise money for the Junior Diabetes Foundation. It was a hit and the town of Stillwater came out and enjoyed riding camels, rides, and playing a variety of games. Also, this was our third straight year of being paired with a sorority for Freshman Follies. Freshman Follies is a competitive show that involves only freshmen with singing and dancing, and all of Greek life at Oklahoma State attends. It helps raise money for Hearts for Hearing, an organization to help kids with hearing loss. For the first time in our chapter's history we won this show and were awarded with best choreography.
